A motorcyclist has died after he was involved in an accident in St. Lucie County.
According to the Treasure Coast Palm, the 28-year-old Alabama man was north
of Palm Bay Road on Interstate 95 around 9 p.m. on Feb. 24 when he was
involved in a crash with a Chevrolet pickup truck.
After he collided with the pickup truck, he was then struck by a Honda
Odyssey. He was pronounced dead at the scene; no one in either the pickup
or the Odyssey was injured.
We extend our deepest and most sincere sympathies to the family members
of the deceased man.
As a Stuart, Florida, motorcycle accident attorney, stories like this concern
me. Authorities are still investigating the accident, so we need to wait
to see what exactly happened, but even so, it's painfully apparent
that one young man is dead while everyone else involved in this incident
was unharmed. All too often, when a car and motorcycle collide, it is
the motorcyclist who comes away bearing the worst consequences.
If you are ever hurt in a truck, car or
motorcycle accident, or if you lose a loved one to such a tragedy, you may want to consider
speaking with an attorney. You surely will have other things on your mind,
of course, but it is good to inform yourself of all your options, if nothing else.
